About
Ariel Asch is a New York-Based choreographer, dancer, dance educator. She graduated in 2011 summa cum laude from Fordham University/Alvin Ailey with her BFA in Dance and a minor in philosophy. In 2017 she completed her Masters in Dance Education at Hunter University as a Lincoln Center Scholar. Ariel founded the indie-ballet collaborative, a interdisciplinary performance group where she acted as choreographer, producer, and artistic director in 2012 (www.indieballet.com). In fall of 2015 she started a dance program at University Neighborhood High School in the lower east side. Ariel also taught movement for actors at HB studio from 2013-2016, and teaches Improvisation for Joffrey’s Jazz and Contemporary program. Her choreographic work has been shown at 92 st Y Symphony Space, Citigroup Theater, Dance New Amsterdam, Center for Performance Research, and more. She has choreographed music videos for artists including ARI LENNOX FT. J COLE, FOREIGN FIELDS, and MORGXN.
